Murray Leinster was the pen name of William Fitzgerald Jenkins, an award-winning American writer of science fiction, mysteries, adventure, and much more. Over his seven-decade career, he published more than 1,500 short stories and articles, 14 movie and hundreds of radio scripts and television plays. The Sidewise Award for best Alternate history story takes its name from his story "Sidewise in Time."
This volume contains audio adaptations of two short stories by science fiction writer Murray Leinster: "A Logic Named Joe" and "First Contact." Both programs originally aired in 1955 as part of NBC's landmark science fiction radio series, "X Minus One."
